Adidas Samba – a popular classic by Adidas Originals
The Adidas Samba trainer was designed as a football training shoe back in 1962. It soon became an Adidas best selling trainer, in its initial years it was close to the Adidas Stan Smith. In 2010 the Adidas Samba Trainer is back an incredibly populat Adidas Retro terrace shoe for football casuals and 5 a side knockabout.
A big hit with todays casuals and retro vintage football fans the Adidas Samba trainer was a very influential piece of kit and was available in a range of colourways all popular in there own right. Some of the most popular colours of the Adidas Originals samba trainer are in Black/White, True Blue/White and the new Adidas World Cup Samba in White/Blue/Red.
The Adidas Samba trainer really did play an integral part in the casual culture and is widely acknowledged as being the first in a long line of Adidas Originals trainers that although were expensive back in the day would gather more and more appeal and cult like status.
